20 Minute Cheezy Mac (Vegan, Oil-free, & Gluten free)
You can have dinner on the table in 20 minutes or less with this easy cheezy mac. It's delicious and is made from pantry ingredients. Add some vegetables like peas or broccoli if desired.
12 oz of pasta (Use gluten free if desired)
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
2 tbsp raw cashew butter
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp pepper or to taste
Pinch of turmeric for color (Optional)
Salt to taste
Cook your pasta as directed on the packaging, but reserve one cup of the pasta water when straining the pasta.
In a bowl mix together all other ingredients and 1/2 cup of the pasta water. Add the mixture to your cooked pasta and the remaining pasta water and mix well. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
